Hey guys, thanks for having our video on here.

As far as mods go the car has a pulley, Stainless Works exhaust and a custom tune.

This car is local to me and it belongs to my buddy brandon. He owns Krazy house. This car has Long tubes, X pipe, 8 rib pulley kit that has a 2.9 upper and 12% OD lower. 60 lb injecotrs and its also being custom tuned by Jimmy LaRocca.

Yeah, enquiring minds want to know! Did the owner ever take AMSMIKE up on his offer to provide the original factory dyno sheet? I would love to see a copy - mine is a Troy build, so no dyno sheet for me...

Chris.

Chris.
After Model Year 2007 Saleen Mustang production was handled by the Troy facility.

I now forget... but once PJ production started... that pretty much pushed all the S cars to MI for the year. Irvine did produce the S281 Es and a few early and maybe scatted S281s... though the bulk will be from MI.

When SS and BT left Saleen, Inc... and the ASC crew came... that-was-that for Irvine.

Unless there was a Pre-Production S302 E that hit the dyno... there's not going to be a CA built 302 E.

Or that's my belief... could be wrong.

Not sure what the silver coupe '08 brochure/press car truely was. Saleen, Inc did show what they said was the new E in late(r) '07. It's wingless with the PJ/Heritage quarter window scoops. I believe this was out in CA.

From what I understood from AMSMIKE (who ran the cars on the dyno after they were built in Irvine), at least some '08s were built in Irvine. I am not sure which ones - I know for sure any special paint cars (including the Stirlings) were built in Troy. I was assuming that any non-special paint S302E might have been built in Irvine, but I could be wrong. Perhaps the owner can chime in - the build loction would be marked on the engine bay plaque...

Chris.

Some early 2008 S302E's were built in Irvine. Majority were built in Troy.

ALL 08 press cars (302E, H302, H302SC, PJ, S331, S331sc, etc...) were in Irvine and they came across my Dyno on many occasions.

So... if Mike ran the E's, then he knows the Saleen Serialization numbers for the said S302 Es, yes/no?

If I say "pretty please," will you then release a S302 E dyno run report to Chris?

Worth a shot.

Yes Mike... we gathered that. What 2008 E's do you have on file? Please pull "any" '08 E for Chris just to see the numbers. Only exception would be the press car. Press cars are full of Tomfoolery.

Though... back in the day... I can vaguely recall hearing a rumor that when SS and BT retired on that bitter cold summer '07 day... BT owned the certification equipment at Irvine and took it with him. Which then was said to cripple the CA motor development.

Or am I remembering something else. There could simply be too much chatter running through my ears.

Anyone out there know?

My 2007 H281 was converted to the 302SC motor in Troy (with fuel, cooling, brakes and aesthetics also)and Dynoed there with a tune by JimIII's father I believe...at the dream cruise open house it was veified to be 539 RWHP by the tech that remembered my car being there. My SC was not polished nor were the heads supposedly. I still lack the tremec 6 speed but it is wicked all the same (yes Jim it is only a matter of time..or should I say money?!)

I don't know of anything about BT owning any cert stuff. I would guess that would be a rumor. Saleen owned everything because when they left, nothing changed on Calibration and cert wise. BT is a great guy and always helped me out...reminds me I need to go to Techco and go see him and JS and the rest of the crew over there.

As for a production S302E. I have 7 - 2008 S302E production cars that I have done. They are making ABOUT 630 HP to the crank!
