i replaced the 96 cobra wheels and tires with the oem correct ARE 5 spoke wheels and discovered that the car has PBR front calipers and braided lines the original saleen wheel feels like it won't clear the PBR caliper are these calipers to big for stock wheels and do i need to replace them to use the correct wheels?

Hi. 13" rotors were on the 1994-04 SVT Cobra and MACH 1 models.
I wonder how much of your front suspension was changed to SN95 components? Spindles, A-arms etc. |

I had a set of are 5 spokes on Lincoln rotors (i think the same as saleens)back in the day, when I installed my cobra/mach1 pbr setup on sn95 spindles i'm pretty sure the calipers hit the spokes.
If I remember correctly that is why I sold them. I was already using 18 inch speedlines and wanted to keep the ARE's, but it served no purpose since they didn't fit.

There use to be an 1989 Saleen Mustang online (white/gold hatchback), that was running a Baer PBR setup in the front with the OE gold ARE 5-spoke wheels. I don't recall how much of the front suspension stay FOX-era.
Baer does make/ sell a caliper bracket that allows the use of the SN95 Cobra caliper with a 12" rotor. This item is offered for the various Mustang racing series cars. |

I had a 4 lug PBR setup on a fox, there was a 5 lug also. As was stated, it was a Baer setup.
