Seeking info: Value of 85-0001
Got a line on Saleen 85-001. Car needs to be restored. Has been sitting for six years. Wondering what it is worth? Avg idea on what to pay?

If you pass on it, let me know. I would be interested as far as the owner is reasonable and does want twice what it is worth. What kind of work needs to be done? Any key parts damaged or missing?

The 85-0002 car was once offered for $30,000.00. This was Tom McIntyre's car and it too featured similar updates and development changes like 85-0001.

Come to think of it, I saw this car in front of a home about 5 years back on Christmas morning. Several guys approached me shortly after thinking I had bought a white 86. I remember exactly where I saw it too, not more than a quarter mile from here.
I though it was an 86, so I didn't investigate any further. If you get me in touch with the owner I'll cut you a finders fee, If I buy the car, it'll be more. Totally serious. Let me know if this is of interest to you. 805-868-5553 |
