Long drive for me; but Summit is a great location for this. Considering making the trip.

Seems like there are a lot of cars in PA. I expect we'll see some good turnout from that area this year. I hope so.

The feature car has been announced and it is the 4-eye Fox cars. This should draw quite a few cars out of Indiana and southern Ohio.

Default 2016 SCOA Nationals - Registration is open!
THE SCHEDULE

THURSDAY will be a visit to the Packard Museum over in Warren, Ohio, birthplace of the Packard Automobile.

THURSDAY EVENING will be our Early Bird meet & greet.

FRIDAY will be a cruise over to High Voltage Karting for some spirited racing.

FRIDAY EVENING is our Welcome Bash – This event will be held at the host hotel.

SATURDAY is the National Show held at Summit Racing Equipment. Want your car signed by Steve Saleen? He’ll be there, along with Liz and Molly!

SATURDAY EVENING we’ll be off to dinner at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Be sure to register for this event as Steve Saleen will be the guest speaker and you don’t want to miss that. Plus we’ll be awarding the Gary Alsobrooks Award to the 2016 recipient as well as drawing the winner of the 1997 Saleen giveaway car.

SUNDAY will be the annual “See Ya” Breakfast.

  • Meet @ Summit Racing Equipment @ 12:00 PM (noon) – cruise to the Packard museum
    (be sure to eat lunch before you get there)
  • Arrive at museum @ 1:00 PM
  • Depart museum @ 3:00 PM
  • Dinner @ 5:30 PM at TGI Friday's, 1039 Interstate Pkwy, Akron, OH 44312



Friday, July 29:
  • Line up at host hotel @ 8:30 AM
  • Depart hotel @ 9:00 AM
  • Arrive at first stop @ 10:00 AM
  • Depart @ 11:00 AM
  • Arrive for lunch @ 11:30 AM at Burtwood Tavern, 8188 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141
  • Depart for Karting @ 12:30 PM
  • Arrive at Karting @ 1:30 PM at High Voltage Indoor Karting, 333 Foundry St, Medina, OH 44256
  • Karting @ 2:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Depart Karting @ 4:30 PM
  • Arrive at hotel @ 5:30 PM
  • Pizza Bash @ 7:00 PM at Holiday Inn Express



Saturday, July 30:
  • Registration opens at 9:00 AM
  • Show from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Awards @ 3:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Cocktails at HOF 6:00 – 6:30 PM
  • Dinner 6:30 – 9:00 PM
  • - Museum 9:00 – 11:00 PM

What a great time this event was! Wow! 3 SA10's, the first supercharged Saleen (85-0021), big wing cars, 2015 YL, S331, XP8 and a Sportruck, plus about 80 more Saleens!

Yes it was a GREAT time, with a great bunch people. it was a real treat to meet Steve Saleen and get the S331SC signed with some posters from a new good friend that i meet in person there. Hope everyone made it home SAFE.
