SOEC President Debbie Blaylock is working with the Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville and has made arrangements to have Saleens parked together for this event.

Here's what we know to date:

Steve Saleen will be a guest
at our Pony Run!!!

The Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville is proud to announce that Steve Saleen is "scheduled" to appear as our very special guest at this years Pony Run! Steve will be signing autographs during the show on Saturday, September the 26th and will be our Master Of Ceremonies for the blues concert that evening. On Sunday, the 27th, Steve will join us on our Pony Run through the beautiful mountains on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Please come out and say hello to Steve and if you have anything that you wish to have signed, please bring those items with you. Posters will also be available for signing. We look forward to having you at our 4th Annual Mustangs for Hospice Pony Run!

Saturday, September the 26th Steve Saleen will be our Master Of Ceremonies for the blues concert that evening.

Here's information about the blues concert:

Mustang shows in the country - The Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville is proud to announce that it will host a benefit concert for Hospice on the evening of the 26th of September. The performer is Bill Wharton aka 'The Sauce Boss'. Bill is a nationally known Blue/Cajun guitarist and offers a most unique concept to his shows. During the show, Bill will cook his very own special recipe of Louisiana gumbo! At the conclusion of his show, the gumbo will be served to those in attendance! The show is slated to begin at or near 6:30p.m. and will end at 8:30 p.m. All participants for the Mustang show are admitted to the concert for free, but a small donation would be appreciated. Tickets to the general public are only $10 and all proceeds benefit CarePartners Hospice. As this is a ticketed event, only 250 tickets will be sold to the general public. Please bring lawn chairs for seating. Soft drinks and water will be sold during the show, and no coolers are permitted.

Saleen Owners: You can request to be parked with the Saleen SOEC group. Attached is a pdf registration blank with the club affiliation Saleen SOEC filled in, and listed at the bottom of the form is a request to park with the Saleen group. SOEC membership is not required to park with this group.

I wish this show wasnt scheduled on the same date as the ne ga. mustang show in maggie valley only 30 miles away. Its been the same weekend for years. Seems like clubs would take this into consideration.
I would live to attend both. May go the Ashville on Sunday.
